Agri food Immigration Pilot

The Agri-Food Immigration Pilot is designed to address labor shortages in the agriculture and food processing sectors by facilitating permanent residency for skilled workers. To qualify, applicants must have at least one year of full-time, non-seasonal work experience in an eligible occupation within Canada, supported by a genuine job offer for an indeterminate period outside of Quebec. Language proficiency in English or French at a minimum Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 4 level is required, along with a high school diploma or equivalent education. Proof of funds to support oneself in Canada and compliance with medical and security requirements are also necessary.

Eligibility Requirements:

You must have at least one year of non-seasonal, full-time work experience in the past three years in one of the eligible occupations in the agriculture or food processing industries. This experience must have been obtained in Canada while you had temporary resident status.You must take an approved language test (such as IELTS or CELPIP for English; TEF or TCF for French) and achieve at least a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 4 in all four abilities: speaking, reading, listening, and writing.

Confirm you meet all requirements. Take and pass an approved language test. If educated outside Canada, obtain an assessment. Gather Documents: Collect proof of work experience, job offer, language test results, ECA, and proof of funds. Complete and submit your application to IRCC. Medical Examination and Police Certificates: Undergo a medical exam and obtain police certificates. Await processing and receive your Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) and visa if approved.
